About GovConnex
GovConnex, founded in 2019, is transforming how organisations engage with government and public policy. As Australia’s market leader, our platform unifies diverse government data—press releases, official statements, government reports ,social media, and parliamentary records—into a single, intuitive interface. We empower clients, from large corporations to nonprofits, to monitor, research, and manage government interactions with real-time insights and streamlined workflows. As we expand into global markets, we’re seeking talented individuals to join our mission.
Engineering at GovConnex
Our culture prioritises excellence and efficiency. We dislike long meetings, in favour of asynchronous communications like slack. Flexibility is abundantly available as long as results are met. With a very flat structure, all engineers are encouraged to suggest improvements, or drive their own projects. We have a hybrid work from home model. We support staff to either be fully remote if not Sydney or London based, or a 3/2 hybrid of working in the office, and working remotely.
We take pride in our commitment to developing high-quality software, leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to address challenges and continually improve our platform and skills.

- Feature development/Code contribution: Contribute to the codebase, providing high-quality code and thoughtful code reviews.
- Process Improvement: Refine engineering workflows and processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure platform security and compliance, partnering with the sales team to address customer inquiries and maintain industry standards.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
